About Rise Basketball

Our Vision

Our vision is to create a movement that reshapes how young athletes are developed, supported, and inspired. We exist to build a new standard of training that fuses high-level skill development, athletic performance training, and mental strength into one unified experience. By investing in the whole athlete from the earliest stages, we aim to raise confident competitors, resilient leaders, and self-driven individuals who are prepared not only to excel in sport, but to carry strength, belief, and purpose into every part of their lives.

A’Jaee

A’Jaee Foster is an accomplished former collegiate basketball standout and experienced coach with a proven record of success at multiple levels of the sport. Foster began her playing career at Los Angeles Valley College, where she was a key contributor to the Monarchs’ Western State Conference Championship with an undefeated conference record and a State Elite Eight appearance. While at LA Valley, she earned CCCAA All-State Second Team and WSC First Team All-Conference honors, and graduated with an Associate Degree in Sociology. She continued her career at Cal Poly Humboldt, earning All-Conference First and Second Team honors, All-Academic recognition, and being named CCAA Newcomer of the Year. Foster played a leading role on the Lumberjacks squad that won the 2014-15 regular season CCAA Championship — the first in school history and led the team in both scoring and rebounding during that campaign. She later completed her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. Following her playing career, Foster transitioned into coaching and basketball operations, amassing more than eight years of experience in collegiate and high school programs. She began as an assistant coach at Los Angeles Valley College, helping guide the Monarchs to a strong season with a 10-0 conference finish and supporting player development on and off the court. Foster then joined Gonzaga University’s women’s basketball staff as Video Coordinator and Director of Analytics, where she contributed to the Bulldogs’ success that included back-to-back West Coast Conference regular-season titles and NCAA Tournament appearances. She went on to serve as an assistant coach at Academy of Art University, where she helped guide the program through a COVID-impacted season and supported student-athlete development and team performance. Most recently, Foster has been part of the coaching staff at University High School, serving as an assistant coach and then as the Program Director, leading basketball operations, player development, and organizational growth. Across her career as both a player and coach, Foster’s leadership, basketball knowledge, and commitment to academic success have consistently strengthened the programs she has been part of.
